Conte unsure about Inter future

Antonio Conte admits doubts over his future at Inter: ‘I don’t know what is going to happen outside, but we are focused on the season only.’

The Nerazzurri host Atalanta at the San Siro on Monday evening.

We must find the proper balance, if everyone helps one another , we will snatch an honest result, but the team which will attack better will win tomorrow,” Conte said at a news conference .

“It are going to be a difficult game. Atalanta create trouble for everybody . they need self-esteem and have a deep squad.

“Gasperini is doing a unprecedented job. We studied Atalanta. We face them for the fourth time since I arrived. We must be resilient when difficulties come.

We must be proud. we’ve always given quite 100 per cent, leaving everything on the sector for this glorious club.

“My teams always play to win, whether or not they are the favourites or not. it had been my goal in my first season with Juventus and Chelsea, but just one team wins within the end.”

Is Conte already brooding about extending his contract with the Nerazzurri at the top of the season?

“I have one year left in my contract, but we must not be distracted by other things. we’ve to remain focused and believe this , from here until the top of the season. i do not know and that i can’t imagine what is going to happen outside. We found ourselves during this situation.”

Suning had admitted they’re trying to find suitable partners to support Inter financially and are reportedly considering a suggestion from Fortress.

“I understand you would like to speak about something else, but we must only specialise in the season to bring Inter where we belong. We must be ferocious under this aspect,” Conte added.

Conte ended the news conference paying tribute to Claudio Segagni, a former translator who died suddenly yesterday and had worked for Milan, Inter, Roma and Juventus.

“It’s very sad. We are talking a few one that was younger than me.

“He worked for therefore many coaches, also here at Inter. I send my condolences to his family.”
