UEL, Inter v Napoli: accreditation halt

MILAN – FC Internazionale wishes to announce that the acceptance of media accreditation requests
(written press, TV, radio, photographers) has ended for Inter
v Napoli, the Week 16 match of the 2012/13 Serie A season scheduled for Sunday
9 December at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (kick-off at 20:45).

Therefore, any further request received will not be considered as accepted.

UEL, Inter v Neftci: facts and curiosities

MILAN – As we await tonight’s match between
Inter and Neftci, here are all the figures and interesting stats from Football Data.

It’s the second time that Inter and Neftci will face each other in a competitive match, after Inter’s 3-1 away win last 4 October. For the Nerazzurri this is the second match against a club from Azerbaijan after the
first leg victory.

Inter have failed to score in only one of their
last 10 competitive home matches;
this took place last 23 September when they were
defeated 0-2 by Siena in the Serie A. In the other 9 games in consideration the Nerazzurri have scored a
total of 16 goals.

Neftci have won just one of their last 10 matches in European
competition: it happened
on 30 August 2012 when, in the Europa League, they earned a 3-1
victory away to Apoel Nicosia. In
the other 9 games the Azerbaijani have a record of 5 draws and 4 defeats.

It will be the second time that Neftci will face an Italian
opponent in a competitive match after the first leg.

This match will be the second ever meeting between Stramaccioni and Hajiev. The first one dates back to the Nerazzurri’s away victory in
Azerbaijan on 4 October.

The referee for the match will be Bosnian Emir Aleckovic.
It will be his seventh time officiating a match in European competition, with the record
standing at 1 home win, 2 draws and 3 away wins. It will be Aleckovic’s first ever match with either Inter or Neftci, but also
his first with either an Italian or an Azerbaijani club.

Serie A, Inter v Neftci: Aleckovic to referee

MILAN – Emir Aleckovic of Bosnia will be the referee for Inter v Neftci, the Matchday
6 game of the UEFA Europa League
scheduled for tomorrow night at
the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza
(kick-off at 21:05).

The 33-year-old ref, an international since 2010, will have Dalibor
Draskovic and Hrvoje Turudic as assistants and Senad
Ibrisimbegovic as the 4th official. Elmir Piljav
and Ognjen Valjic will act as additional assistants.

Appiano Gentile: final session before Neftci

APPIANO GENTILE – At the Centro Sportivo
Angelo Moratti, the Nerazzurri concluded their final
training session in preparation for Inter v Neftci, the
final match of Group H of the UEFA Europa League scheduled for tomorrow night at the Stadio Giuseppe
Meazza (kick-off at 21:05).

After the warm-up there were exercises on ball possession for the group, to which were added 7 lads from Daniele Bernazzani’s Primavera squad:
Andrea Bandini (defender, 1994), Niccolo’ Belloni (forward, 1994), Isaac Donkor
(defender, 1995), Marco Ferrara (defender, 1994), Luca Garritano (forward,
1994), Giovanni Terrani (forward, 1994), Simone Pasa (midfielder, 1994).

Livaja: "Thinking only of hard work"

APPIANO GENTILE – Andrea Stramaccioni chose Marko Livaja, a player in
whom the coach has great faith, for the press conference on the eve of Inter v Neftci.

The journalists present wanted to know
about the future of Inter’s young hope, Livaja: will he
stick around to grow with the Nerazzurri, or head to another team in order to
gain more experience? "I’m an
Inter player and I’m thinking only about Inter. I’ll discuss my future with the club’s directors."

Meanwhile, Livaja is fully integrated with this group: "I feel very good
here. Everyone gives me advice, the forwards most of all, obviously. But I get along well with everyone."

Finally, the player was asked if he had expected so much
playing time: "I hadn’t expected anything. I just wanted to work hard in order to give 100%
once I was needed."
