A member of PP Sports has revealed the platform will continue to broadcast Serie A games in China with Italian clubs that will receive the established fees.
PPTV, owned by Inter’s main shareholder Suning, had had a serious delay in payments to IMG, the company that markets the rights of Serie A in the world.
Therefore, the broadcast of Serie A games in China was suspended but a member of the company has revealed fans of Italian football in the country will soon be able to watch Serie A games again.
“We are still communicating with the Lega Serie A regarding prices and fees,” the source told Beijing Business Daily .
“The TV will announce the broadcast of the games from February 13, before the beginning of matchday 22.
“It is foreseen an economic compensation for Serie A clubs.”
