The defender is unfazed by the speculation surrounding his future and instead has chosen to focus on impressing ahead of the upcoming Confederations Cup with Italy
Andrea Ranocchia has played down Juventus’ reported interest in him, claiming that he has no intention of leaving Inter.
Speculation has surrounded the defender’s future with Antonio Conte’s side being linked with a summer swoop for the 25-year-old, but Ranocchia insists he is happy at the Nerazzurri.
“Juventus? Every summer these rumours come around, but there’s nothing to it. I have a contract with Inter until 2015 and I’m happy,” Ranocchia told a press conference.
As well as confirming his desire to remain with Inter, Ranocchia harbours ambitions of featuring in the Confederations Cup for Italy.
He added: “I would be very pleased to go to the Confederations Cup and I hope I get to be in the squad.”
Ranocchia featured in Italy’s 4-0 warm-up friendly victory over San Marino on Friday.
