Samaden: "A trademark Inter win"

ZINGONIA – Roberto Samaden was the first to speak to Inter Channel following Inter’s 4-3 victory over Atalanta in the Juniores Berretti final second leg in Zingonia. "It’s an extraordinary achievement, not only because we’ve won the Berretti title but because of the way we’ve approached the league this season. I’ve seen other sides win the league by fielding a Primavera side but we decided to go about it another way, with the agreement of the coach. For his part Sergio Zanetti has been terrific and has always kept the squad highly motivated. I’d like to highlight to what extent this title comes with the trademark of the Inter youth academy."

Ahead of the draw for the group phase of the Primavera league Samaden added: "We have and indeed will have other finals to play, this was the first and we’ve brought the trophy home. There has never been any doubt as to the quality of our youth academy and it’s essential for every campaign." The Nerazzurri director wanted to dedicate the win to one person in particular. "We at the Inter family would like to dedicate this to Matteo Lomolino and his family, who tragically lost his father yesterday."

Berretti: Inter, Italian champions

ZINGONIA – Having got past Napoli, last year’s title winners,
Sergio Zanetti’s Inter side have beaten Atalanta in the final over two
legs. The home leg finished 3-0 at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto
Facchetti, while the Nerazzurri won today’s second leg 4-3 after a crazy and emotional
game, complete with a goalfest in the second half (6 of the 7 goals were
scored in the second period). Inter therefore win the Juniores Berretti
title for the fourth time.

Indonesia 2012: so far and yet so near

MILAN – Although 11,000 kilometres separate Inter and Indonesia, 15 million fans bring them together. The distance is irrelevant however, not only because Andrea Stramaccioni‘s side will arrive in Jakarta on Wednesday 23 May, but also thanks to inter.it and the Nerazzurri’s official Facebook page. Indeed you can see just how much interest there is for Inter in Indonesia simply by looking at the internet traffic. More than 5,000 people access indonesia.inter.it (the Indonesian version of the Nerazzurri’s official site) every day, generating more than a million hits a month. Indonesia, after Italy and the United States, is competing with Japan for third place in terms of the number of hits on inter.it and 20,000 Indonesians are signed up to the site.

Looking at the traffic on Facebook, Indonesia is second only to Italy in terms of the number of "likes" and comments on Inter’s page.

Thanks for your support Indonesia, we’ll see you very soon!
