MILAN – Having netted twice on the road (Pescara, Torino), this evening Diego Milito opened his San Siro account for the season. A goal that might easily have been two or three: "Unfortunately my second shot struck the bar," he told Inter Channel, "but the three points are the main thing. It was a very good win, the whole team played exceptionally well in the opening 45 minutes. We created loads of opportunities and it’s a massive win for us."
El Principe continued: "All strikers need chances. I’m disappointed I couldn’t do more with the other ones I had this evening. It’s something I’ll try to improve but, as I said, I’m going home happy with the three points. It’s fantastic playing alongside Cassano because you know that at any moment he can put you through on goal with the keeper. We’ve shored up at the back and we’re capable of hurting sides when we attack."
