The former Argentina international says the Barcelona star once told him he would like to join the Nerazzurri, but does not believe he will leave the Catalan side
Former Argentina international Juan Sebastian Veron says his compatriot Lionel Messi once told him he wanted to play for Inter.
Barcelona star Messi has spent his entire career with the Catalan club, but has been linked to several clubs over the last few years.
And Veron, who spent several seasons playing for Sampdoria, Parma, Lazio and Inter during a 20-year career, said Messi had previously spoken to him about his desire to play for the Milan club.

“It’s been a few years, but one time he told me he would like to play for Inter,” Veron told Tuttosport.
“But let me be clear, this was something that happened in the past.
“Massimo Moratti was still the owner of Inter and, frankly, I see it impossible for Leo to leave Barcelona.”
