The Inter defender believes rumours about his future show that he is doing his job well but stressed that he is happy at the Giuseppe Meazza
Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia has expressed his delight at being linked to the likes of Juventus and believes it validates the hard work he has put in at San Siro.
Rumours recently circulated that the Bianconeri were interested in luring the Italy international to Turin but the 25-year-old insists that he is happy at at the club.
“I’ve always said that interest from big clubs in me is nice because it shows the good work I’ve put in over the years at Inter,” he told Inter’s official website on Sunday.
“It’s another reason why I’m proud to wear the Nerazzurri colours.”
Ranocchia started in the Azzurri’s 4-0 win over San Marino on Friday and, after the match, played down rumours of him joining Juve in the summer.
The centre-back has a deal with Walter Mazzarri’s side until the summer of 2015.
