Juve-Inter: Conte’s doubts, Pirlo to deal with absentees

Antonio Conte has two doubts regarding Inter’s line-up against Juventus while Andrea Pirlo must deal with the absences of three key players.

The Old Lady host the Nerazzurri at the Allianz Stadium tomorrow in the decider of the Coppa Italia semi-final.

The Bianconeri won 2-1 in Milan last week and a draw or even a 1-0 defeat would be enough for Pirlo’s side to gain access to the final.

The former midfielder must deal with the injury of Leonardo Bonucci who is likely to be rested in order to be fit to face Napoli next weekend.

Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral are expected to feature in the Old Lady’s starting XI as Giorgio Chiellini will also start on the bench.

Pirlo has more concerns in midfield and in the attacking department as both Arthur and Alvaro Morata are expected to sit out the clash.

The Brazilian has fever, while the former Real Madrid striker has stomach flu.

Pirlo has announced Dejan Kulusevski will start tomorrow.

Antonio Conte warned his side “Juventus don’t need gifts such as those made in the first leg” and will see Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi return to action at the Allianz Stadium.

They were both suspended for the first leg in Milan last week.

Arturo Vidal will serve a one-match ban against his old club with Roberto Gagliardini expected to replace the Chile international even if either Christian Eriksen or Stefano Sensi could have a chance to start.

One between Ivan Perisic, Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young will start on the left wing.

Probable Juve-Inter line-ups:

Juventus (4-4-2): Buffon; Cuadrado, Demiral, De Ligt, Danilo; McKennie, Bentancur, Rabiot, Chiesa; Kulusevski, Ronaldo.

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Brozovic, Gagliardini, Young; Lukaku, Lautaro.
