Inter: ten players face uncertain future

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ashley Young is likely to leave Inter at the end of the season, and the future of nine more players is under scrutiny.

Young, a former Manchester United and Aston Villa winger, will see his contract expire at the end of the season and reports his permanence at the club is unlikely.

The Serie A giants are considering the future of nine more players.

Andrea Ranocchia’s contract is also set to expire at the end of the current campaign and it will be the defender to decide his own future.

He could either leave to get more playing time somewhere else or stay at the club, extending his contract for one more season.

Matias Vecino will be put on the market after having played only 70 minutes across all competitions so far this season, while the club need to decide on Arturo Vidal, Roberto Gagliardini, Ivan Perisic and Stefano Sensi’s future.

Vidal joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Barcelona in the summer, but Inter could drop him and save his €6.5m-a-year salary.

His contract expire in June 2022 and the Nerazzurri have an option to extend his stay at the Stadio Meazza until 2023.

Both Ionut Radu and Andrea Pinamonti will leave the club on loan and Daniele Padelli will discuss his future with Beppe Marotta at the end of the current campaign.
