Marcos Alonso could be heading back to Serie A following a row with Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, as he was linked with Inter and Juventus.
The 29-year-old is no stranger to Italy, having played at Fiorentina from 2013-16 before his €23m move to Chelsea.
He does not seem to be part of Lampard’s plans after some pre-season disagreements and was not even on the bench for today’s match against Crystal Palace.
According to Calciomercato.com, Inter coach Antonio Conte is eager for a reunion with Alonso, having already worked with him at Stamford Bridge.
Alonso had by far his most prolific period working with Conte, scoring 14 goals with seven assists in 81 games.
