?Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala and Paris Saint Germain midfielder Javier Pastore have both emerged as potential targets for Inter Milan, as they look to boost their squad for a potential shot at the Serie A title.

Inter, who haven’t finished top of the pile in Italy since 2010, are currently unbeaten and second in the table, just two points behind pacesetters Napoli after eleven games of Serie A season, and it seems the Nerazzurri are planning to build a squad capable of going all the way in the fight for the Scudetto.

According to ?Football Italia, Italian newspaper Tuttosport claims that both Mangala and Pastore are considered viable targets for Luciano Spalletti’s side.

Tuttosport reportedly claim that Pastore, who has made just 36 league appearances for Paris Saint Germain since the start of the 2015/16 season, is thought to be a “perfect” fit for the 4-2-3-1 formation employed by Spalletti at Inter.

Like Pastore, Mangala has also found first team opportunities hard to come by at his current club in recent times. The French defender has made just three appearances for Manchester City this season, and spent the whole of last season on loan at Valencia.

It is thought Mangala would provide extra strength in depth to Inter’s defence, with Miranda, Andrea Ranocchia and Milan Skriniar the only central defensive options currently available to Spalletti.
