The Lega Serie A President Paolo Dal Pino has confirmed the next Supercoppa Italiana between Inter and Juventus will be played in Saudi Arabia.
Inter are the Italian champions and will play the Coppa Italia winners Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana next season.
Dal Pino has confirmed the match will be set in Saudi Arabia, as the Lega Serie A has a contract to honour, and believes it will be ‘a great commercial for our football’.
“The League has a contract with Saudi Arabia, which had the possibility of giving up one year to play in our own country, which we did,” he told Radio Anch’io. “The next match will be in Saudi Arabia, as foreseen by our contract, with spectators.
“It will also be an extraordinary match, Inter vs. Juventus, a great commercial for our football abroad.”
