Inter captain Samir Handanovic has claimed he’s ‘not very worried’ about the eight goals conceded in four games. ‘We must learn from our mistakes’.
Ahead of the match against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Champions League tomorrow, the goalkeeper said Inter have had little time ‘to work on the defence’.
Handanovic has conceded eight goals in four League games so far and is yet to keep a clean sheet in 2020-21.
“A goalkeeper is always worried when he concedes eight goals,” Handanovic said at a press conference. “Goals are the life of the attack and the defence.
“But I’m not very worried because we create a lot of chances, we have to be more clinical in front of goal.
“It’s normal that they can catch us off guard. We didn’t have much time to work on the defence, we need to learn from our mistakes and benefit from them.
“We must raise our level in the Champions League, and everyone needs to do better.”
