Gasperini: ‘We lost on a corner kick’

Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini said he wouldn’t have done anything different against Inter, despite leaving San Siro empty handed.

La Dea pushed for the equaliser, as Milan Skriniar scored the sole goal of the match after 54 minutes and helped Inter increase the gap at the highest of Serie A to 6 points.

But Gasperini said he wouldn’t have changed his approach after a solid display against the League leaders, albeit his team were narrowly beaten 1-0 on Monday night.

“If i might replay it like this 100 more times? i might say yes,” Gasperini told Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“We had an honest game, both within the first and therefore the last half .

“We lost on a free kick , a touch confused. We lost due to one episode.”
