Djimsiti: ‘We knew it would be a tough match’

Berat Djimsiti said Atalanta ‘knew it might be a troublesome match’ against Inter, after a primary half ‘many duels’.

Both teams wanted to attack and Atalanta came closest to opening the scoring through Duvan Zapata, but Djimsiti was caught during a duel with Romelu Lukaku midway through the primary half and was lucky to urge back in time to prevent the Belgian.

“A lot of duels,” Djimsiti told Sky Sport Italia at half-time. “But we knew it might be a troublesome match.

“We will need to attempt to be more attacking, but we all know Inter’s defence and that they are very strong.”

Djimsiti also had an attempt on track , with an honest header that was stopped on the road by Marcelo Brozovic.
