The Italy international has been linked with an imminent switch to San Siro but his representative insists that there is no truth in the rumours
Antonio Candreva’s agent has dismissed reports that the Lazio ace is on the verge of finalising a January move to Inter.
It has been claimed that the Italy international is close to agreeing terms with the Nerazzurri, who have made no secret of their desire to sign a winger when the transfer window reopens at the start of next month.
However, Candreva’s representative, Federico Pastorello, insists that there is no chance of his client – who has also been linked with Barcelona in recent weeks – leaving the Stadio Olimpico halfway through the current campaign.
“I can refute the rumours that would have Candreva close to joining Inter,” the agent told FCInterNews. “The player has a contract with Lazio [until 2018] and he will remain in Rome.

“I have read the newspapers and heard these stories from various media organisations but there’s nothing to them.”
However, in a boost for Inter, Pastorello confirmed that another of his clients, Samir Handanovic, is set to commit his future to the club.
“In relation to the Slovenian goalkeeper, everything will be decided between December and January,” he added.
“Will it be a new four-year deal? We must still discuss the length of the contract.”
