Bologna 0-1 Inter: Icardi strike sends Mancini's men top

The Argentine netted his third league goal of the season as the Nerazzurri climbed to the top of the Serie A standings with a narrow victory over Delio Rossi’s strugglers

Mauro Icardi scored the only goal of the game as Inter ran out 1-0 winners against Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

The Argentina international tucked the ball home from close-range after being set up by Adem Ljajic after 67 minutes.

Felipe Melo was sent off after being shown two yellow cards, but Roberto Mancini’s side held on for an important three points.

The win temporarily takes Inter to the top of the Serie A table, with Roma, Napoli, Fiorentina and Lazio all with a chance to overtake them on Wednesday.
