Alex Sandro: ‘We’ll try to win all the remaining matches’

Alex Sandro said Juventus ‘always specialise in winning’ the Scudetto and vowed to ‘work to win all’ the remaining games this term.

Juventus crashed out of the Champions League in the week and until the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta in May, their only commitment are going to be in Serie A.

The Bianconeri prepare to face Cagliari on Sunday and are currently 10 points behind leaders Inter, but they have one game in hand and aim to offer the Nerazzurri a true battle for the trophy.

“We will attempt to do our greatest and that we will work to win all the games,” Alex Sandro told Sky Sport Italia. “It has been our goal since the start of the season and our mentality has not changed.

“We always specialise in winning the League. There are still many games and that we must be good at winning all of them , additionally to the Coppa Italia.”

The wing-back said that they didn’t approach the Champions League match against FC Porto within the right way and admitted the Bianconeri ‘need to improve’.

“We were disappointed with the elimination and therefore the biggest mistake was how we approached the match,” he added.

“Even within the first leg we started badly both within the first and therefore the last half . It’s precisely in those moments when the sport seems easy that we’d like to enhance.

“You can concede goals even when it doesn’t seem to be dangerous, and this will cause defeat. We’ve to think that each ball is vital, and each action can change the sport and our season.

“In this sense, we’d like to enhance.”
