Lautaro Martinez’s agents assure after today’s meeting ‘there is nothing with Real Madrid and Barcelona. He is staying here at Inter.’
Carlos Beto Yaque and Rolando Zarate were spotted entering the Inter HQ in Milan this afternoon, sparking rumours they would present offers from Spanish sides, or discuss a potential contract extension with the Nerazzurri.
They emerged after under an hour and spoke to Tuttomercatoweb, along with other media present.
“It was just a courtesy visit, that is all,” said Beto Yaque.
“There is nothing with Real Madrid and Barcelona. Lautaro is staying here at Inter.”
The striker has a release clause worth €111m, but it is only valid for a few weeks in July and has now expired for this season.
According to Sky Sport Italia, they will meet again once the summer transfer session has closed to discuss a new and improved contract.
