Zanetti: "A difficult moment, but we’re united"

NOVARA – "It’s a difficult moment because we have good intentions but we
aren’t managing to put them into practice. I see a lot of effort in training
during the week, but right now the things are not coming out that the team can
and must do." Commenting on the match that saw Inter leave the Stadio
Piola in Novara as the losing team was the record-man Javier Zanetti. He was
showing a smile that was needed on the evening, even when considering the
milestone he reached on the pitch in a Nerazzurri shirt.

The captain continued speaking to Inter Channel: "Now we’ll have to work,
remaining united, and we have to speak among ourselves and change this negative
trend. There are still many matches to come and now what matters is thinking
about Saturday, at Bologna, and getting ourselves up the table. Tomorrow we
will speak calmly, we will be more lucid and able to look forward."

Finally, the captain had some words for the Nerazzurri fans: "Each one of
them has to understand that these situations can happen. There are some good
moments but there are also those that aren’t so good. And we need them in both
of those."
