The Nerazzurri midfielder wants to put the 3-1 defeat to Juventus behind him and focus on getting three points against Sassuolo
Saphir Taider wants Inter to forget about their defeat to Juventus and move forward in Serie A.
The Nerazzurri were beaten 3-1 at Juventus Stadium on Sunday as goals from Stephan Lichtsteiner, Giorgio Chiellini and Arturo Vidal put the hosts comfortably ahead within the hour.
While Rolando pulled a goal back for Inter 18 minutes from time, it mattered little, leaving Inter two points off Hellas Verona in the final European qualification spot, and yet to win a match in 2014.
Despite the defeat, midfielder Taider has called on Inter to bounce back against Sassuolo on Sunday, amid reports Walter Mazzarri’s job could be under threat.
“We have to forget this match now and concentrate on beating Sassuolo,” he told Inter Channel.
“I think we can learn in defeat. We’ve lost tonight but we mustn’t give up. We have to keep going because we’re only halfway through the season.
“Are we lacking aggression? We always try to give everything when we’re on the pitch. We’ll look at things together with the coach on Tuesday and see what we can do to bounce straight back from this defeat.”
Inter are winless in five Serie A matches, having last tasted victory in the top flight against city rivals Milan.
