Red Star Belgrade midfielder Marko Grujic claims he is wanted by Chelsea.
The 19-year-old was brought through Red Star’s academy and is reportedly being monitored by Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
“Nemanja Matic is a friend, he plays for Serbia and has played for Chelsea for over a year,” Grujic told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “He has told me that they want me.”
Grujic also admits that he has spoken to Inter assistant and former Serbia international Dejan Stankovic about a potential move to the Serie A club.
“He [Stankovic] called me three weeks ago and Tuesday we will talk after the game against Slovenia. He told me to continue playing like I have been because Inter are following me,” Grujic said.
“At the end of the season I will go to Milan to talk to them [Inter]. It is a possible destination.”
