APPIANO GENTILE – The Nerazzurri underwent their fourth training session of the week at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti this morning, in preparation for Sunday’s trip to Fiorentina. Andrea Stramaccioni and the coaching staff put the players through a 40-minute workout focusing on deadball situations and tactical drills on different areas of the pitch. 18-year-old Primavera keeper Raffaele Di Gennaro trained with the first team.
Cristian Chivu was back at work after being granted a day off yesterday, while Luc Castaignos and Walter Samuel carried out individual rehabilitation programmes.
Inter will have their final training session tomorrow morning, followed by Andrea Stramaccioni’s press conference at 12:30 (live on inter.it and Inter Channel), lunch and departure for Florence.
APPIANO GENTILE – Andrea Stramaccioni will speak to the media in the press room at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti at 12:30 tomorrow, Saturday 21 April 2012, ahead of Inter’s 2011/12 Serie A Week 34 match against Fiorentina, to be played at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence on Sunday 22 April 2012 (12:30 kick-off).
The press conference will be broadcast live by Inter Channel (Sky Italia, channel 232) and streamed on inter.it.
Journalists and radio/TV crew (no photographers) may enter the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti from 12:15.

APPIANO GENTILE – Before beginning today’s training session at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti the Inter directors, technical staff and players, along with coach Andrea Stramaccioni, all observed a minute of silence on the pitch in memory of Piero Morosini, the Livorno player who passed away on Saturday. The minute of silence coincided with the funeral that was taking place in Bergamo.
APPIANO GENTILE – Preceded by a minute of silence in memory of Piermario
Morosini, the third weekly training session was held this morning at the Centro
Sportivo Angelo Moratti in La Pinetina ahead of the match against Fiorentina at
the Stadio Franchi. Also present were technical director Marco Branca, sporting
director Piero Ausilio, technical consultant Gianfranco Bedin with his ex
team-mate and scout Mario Corso, and vice managing director Stefano Filucchi.
The session, which lasted approximately 70 minutes, saw the group perform
technical and tactical exercises. Ricardo Alvarez, Maicon, Wesley Sneijder and
Dejan Stankovic trained with their team-mates. Added to the first team for the
session were goalkeeper Raffaele Di Gennaro (’93), full-back Ibrahima Mbaye
(’94), midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan (’93) and forward Marko Livaja (’93).
There were individual recovery sessions Luc Castaignos and Walter Samuel and an
excused absence for Cristian Chivu.
Tomorrow morning there will be the fourth weekly training session, once again
in Appiano Gentile.
