Inter have officially brought back Italy Under-21 striker Andrea Pinamonti from Genoa on a permanent basis.
Pinamonti’s loan to Genoa became permanent for €19.5m just 17 days ago, but Inter retained a buyback option worth €20m.
Although they were initially reported to have passed that up, the Nerazzurri announced this evening that the 21-year-old was theirs once more.
Pinamonti played 34 times for the Grifone last season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.
He becomes the second centre-forward to leave Genoa on Friday after Andrea Favilli, who signed for Verona.
Pinamonti, as per Sky Sport Italia, has penned a contract with Inter until 2024, worth around €2m net a season.
