Inter wait on Rubin Kazan for M'Vila deal

Club sporting director Piero Ausilio stopped short of officially rubber-stamping the deal but claims a deal for the French midfielder is imminent

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is waiting for Rubin Kazan to ratify the deal before formally announcing the signing of Yann M’Vila.

The 24-year-old completed a medical in Milan earlier this week and, despite a hold-up over the completion of his move, insisted joining Inter was his only option.

The midfielder has already been pictured posing with a Nerazzurri shirt and, while he admitted the Russian club are yet to sign off on the transfer, Ausilio is confident the France international will soon complete his move.

“As an official I can’t confirm anything, given that in football I’ve seen everything. We are waiting for Rubin Kazan to announce the deal,” he said to reporters.

“Over these last three or four days we have seen how much Inter want him. When he signed our contract he clearly couldn’t wait to post photos showing his excitement.”

M’Vila is expected to join Inter on a loan deal with the option to make the transfer permanent next summer, despite having only signed for Rubin in a €12 million transfer in January 2013.
