Sergio Pellissier opened the scoring at the San Siro, but the hosts made it five wins in a row through Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic and Eder
Inter left it late but secured a fifth successive victory in Serie A on Saturday as they saw off Chievo 3-1.
The visitors rocked the hosts by taking the lead on 34 minutes, with veteran frontman Sergio Pellissier breaking the deadlock.
Inter hit back, though, in the 69th minute when Mauro Icardi grabbed his 17th goal of the season.
The turnaround was completed four minutes from the end when Ivan Perisic fired home.
There was, however, still time for Eder to add a third in stoppage-time and lift his side above arch-rivals AC Milan and into fifth spot.
