After collecting just one point from the first three league games of his second spell in charge of the club, Mateo Kovacic and Andrea Ranocchia secured a victory on Monday
Mateo Kovacic and Andrea Ranocchia were on target to secure a 2-0 win for Inter over Chievo on Monday, giving Roberto Mancini his first league win in his second spell in charge.
The Nerazzurri had picked up just one point in three Serie A games since Mancini took over from Walter Mazzarri at the helm of the first team, with defeats to Roma and Udinese following a 1-1 draw with AC Milan.
The San Siro outfit climbed to 11th place with the win over Chievo, who remain just one point above the relegation places.
Kovacic put his side in the lead in the first half, tapping in from close range after Chievo failed to clear it in their own box.
And the victory was sealed just 10 minutes into the second period when Ranocchia reacted first to a Danilo D’Ambrosio cross and slammed home.
