MILAN – Inter continued their preparations for Thursday’s Europa League qualifier against Hajduk Split with a morning training session at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza today.
It was an opportunity for the Nerazzurri to try out the new playing surface – a mix of real grass and artificial turf – as they worked with president Massimo Moratti watching. Andrea Stramaccioni and the coaching staff put the players through a warm-up with the ball and a series of tactical drills before rounding off with a practice match on a reduced pitch.

summer training camp in Folgaria, Daniele Bernazzani and the
Primavera lads are set to resume pre-season preparations at the
Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti tomorrow, Wednesday 8 August.
Nerazzurri Under-19s will train again on Thursday 9 before setting off for Zagreb, where they are due to take part in a triangular tournament with hosts NK Zagreb and Udinese.
Inter’s opening match is against the Friulan outfit on Friday 10 at
18:00; they will then face the home side on Saturday at 17:00 before
returning to Milan.
